Major newbie question!

Hi im very new to Actinic. I have a couple of questions:

Is there a way to create a new empty shop site from Actinic Developer? So that I can have say 5 different shops all managed under one copy of Actinic Developer.

My other question is, does anyone have experience on adding new products to the database WITHOUT usinf the actinic application interface? E.G. creating an ASP script page which adds new products to the database based on user form data entry.

New sites: File / Sites / License new Site. This isn't available on the demo version.

Adding directly to the database: Can be done but is a MAJOR amount of work. There are a lot of tables to maintain. Might be safest and simplest to create an Import file instead.
