Suggestion for Actinic

It would be handy if Actinic had an order status page. Now and again we have products that are out of stock and occasionally there is quite a long wait. I find this facility both useful and reassuring on other sites I buy from especially as there is the option to cancel the order. It demonstrates professionalism in online customer care and would be a smart addition to Actinic's outstanding software.

Are you taking about online order status? If so, we have a partner who has implemented Order Tracking for Actinic. Here is the link: http://www.codepath.co.uk/web_ordertracking.htm.

I'm afraid Actinic will not implement this as it is an offline product. If are any point we change this, by having an online database, then we will look into this.

For an offline order status, in version 7, you can highlight different orders with a colour. So this can be a form of order status; eg

Red = Out of Stock
Green = Shipping Soon
Orange = Credit Checked
