    Shared SSL with EasySpace

    Hi

I'm designing an online store for a client who's already bought hosting and SSL through EasySpace. They've opted for the Shared-SSL hosting... am I right in thinking this will cause the customer to be re-directed from the checkout page to EasySpace's secure page, thus changing the url to something like https://secure4.easyspace.com/www.domain.com/ instead of a secure page within your site like - https://www.domain.com/cgi-bin/os000001.pl

Any other issues to be aware of hosting with EasySpace and running an Actinic store?

    Many thanks for any responses.

The SSL pages will be under a non 'customers domain name' when it kicks over to those pages.

You need to ensure that you have either relative paths for the ssl content to show, or absolute paths in which case you need ftp access to be able to upload it, which means settings in the Network config for ssl being different to the normal non ssl settings.

Fun and games sometimes getting shared ssl in this manner to work, so a look through the archives of this forum might be wise first of all to help save on setting nitemares and that..
