Choice Dependant Pricing - Problems

Hi All,

I am trying to set up stock control for products that have different attributes (size, colour, etc). Searches in the forum suggest I need to use the "Creating Choice Dependant Pricing" section from the Help > Starter Guide.

I have tried to follow these instructions but do not get the same results as mentioned. The main problem seems to be that I do not seem to produce a 'Selection' component and there is definately no sign of the 'Permutations' tab.

Can anyone suggest what I might be missing here?

As a guide to what I am trying to achieve, check out www.be-cheeky.com and drill down into one of the products, where I have set up the required attributes already - although they are simple components and attributes.

Hi,

You would need to set up your products as follows:

Product
---Component
------Attribute
---------Choice1
---------Choice2
---------Choice3

Hidden Product for Choice1

Hidden Product for Choice2

Hidden Product for Choice3

Once you have set this structure up you should then see the 'Permutations' tab in the component. Then you click the 'Fill List' option on this tab which will put all your choices into the grid. You then associate each 'choice' to the relevant hidden product (in the 'Product' column). Your stock will then be monitored in the hidden product.
