How to change default payment method?

Is there a way to change the default payment method from Credit Card Details Sent Separately to Credit Card?

Many of my customers get frustrated because they can't enter their card information, and I suspect the problem is that they zip past the payment method drop down menu and go to the next page. I get their order but the order says they want to send the credit card details separately.

Hi,
I think I know how
Go to "Design" "Business Settings" "Payments & Security" tab
It should list all the payment options and, presumably, the "Credit card details sent separately" option is at the top?
Click on the "Credit car" option that you want used as default and, on the right hand side, click the arrow with the line above it.
This will shift it to the top of the list and, when uploaded, it'll become the default option if customers zip past.

I was looking for PayPal in that drop down menu but it's not there. Maybe it's not available with the U.S. version I own.

That's right.

PayPal is not available in the US version of v6. It is in v7, however.
