discount confusion

After reading through the section on discounts etc, and a few threads i am still a little confused on how to achieve giving a 10% discount when a customer puts in a chosen code across all my product range?

Do i have to select the discount tab on every product?

Hi Otiz,

The problem with discounts within Actinic is you can only offer 1 discount per product group.

To achieve your site wide discount you need to add all you products into a product group , set the discount on the quantity of 1 and then check 'Requires Coupon'

One discount per group, no i have many discounts to all groups.

So different people can put different codes in to get different discounts.

Dont ask me how i did it i just played about for a bit.
