Java Applet

Hey gang - Can anyone think of any reason why the JAVA applet should sufddenly stop loading? I had to do a complete site refresh recenently and it appears some files were not pulled accross - e,g the email templates causing file not found errors. This is a new one though - run Java everyday so can't see why it shouldn't load - just get the error when trying to test the credit card payment method: website www.herbsscotland.co.uk

If the area above this line is a blank grey rectangle and does not change, this is probably because something in your setup does not allow Java to run. Press the back Button on your browser and select "send credit card details separately" as your payment method.

Hi there

That a strange one, it might be some of the java applet files are missing. You could try ftping to your site, go to the /acatalog/ folder and see the "COM" folder. Here simply delete it, and then do "Web | Refresh Website". Let Actinic recreate the folders with the java applet structure.

Hi cheers for responding - Thats seems have to done the trick although the applet is appearing in awful colours! I assume thats a setting somewhere?

You can fix these colours by going to 'Design | Colors'.
