SMS Order Confirmation

Hi all

I wonder if anyone can help.

Is it possible in V6 or V7 to send customers SMS alerts throughout the order process to keep them informed, ie. if their order has been confirmed, processed, dispatched etc?

You can not use the software as a means for sending SMS messages, but you could set up your mail system to send a copy of order emails to an alternate email address, where that provider provides SMS alerts of when an email is received.. An idea maybe.

Thanks that sounds like a good solution. Do you know of any specific places i can do this?
