    Customer's email address in checkout

    Hi,

    In the checkout section I have selected to 'show' the customer email address but stated that it isn't required. However when testing - if I don't put anything in the box I get an error message stating 'The format of the entered Email Address is not valid.' (even though I haven't entered anything / or deleted)

    Can anyone help with this?

    Hi there

    I'm afraid to say that the email address is a required field, there is no way you can change this, you would need to put in an email to get the order confirmation. So i would suggest in changing the text in "Design | Text | Web Site (Cont) | Invoice Address". Saying it is required. I believe this is a bug reported, but i am going to get this checked.

        Yes, this one is fixed in 7.0.3 (currently in beta)
