CUSTOMVARs in section link page?

I'm trying to set up a section link page where there's a unique CUSTOMVAR property for each subsection.

Now I can define the CUSTOMVAR property for each of the subsections OK, but the section link template appears to only pick up the CUSTOMVAR property defined in it's own section, not that defined in the subsection.

As the template is supposed to be creating links to the subsection using the properties as defined there, isn't this wrong?

Anyone who can help or advise? I have done a search but a previous discussion similar to this never got resolved.

Up until 6.1, the custom property for a section only appears within the page for that section rather than the section link for that section.

From 6.1 onwards, it will appear within the section link and the section page.

6.1 is currently on beta and will be on full release in a couple of weeks.
