Discount for quantity

Hello,

I have searched the other threads for this but none seem to answer my question so here it goes:

I have Actinic Business and wish to apply discounts to product groups which is easy enough. However some product groups need 2 or 3 discounts, i.e

Discount 1 = Buy 3 for only £10.00

Discount 2 = Buy 5 for only £15.00

Is this possible in the discount settings?

I have tried to enter this in the discounts settings but when tested only one discount will be applied, i.e

You buy 3 for £10, You buy 5 and only get the buy 3 for £10 discount, you buy 6 for £20.

Is this correct for Actinic to apply only one discount? Or am I missing something?

Actinic calculates the discounts by the highest first, then works down.

So for what you are wanting, your discounts in the list in Discounts and Surcharges, would need to appear like this -

Discount 1 = Buy 5 for only ?15.00

Discount 2 = Buy 3 for only ?10.00

So it is going to check to see if you have 5 in your cart first, if so the cost will be ?15, if not the second discount will be applied.

All you need to do is click the arrow buttons under the cart contents to change the order they appear in.
