Closing a </form> problems. Need HTML help.

Check out the differences in the purple table across the top of the page here:

Obviously the table in #2 gets taller. I want it to be the same height as the one in #1.

Now, this is where it gets wierd. I can make the table the correct size if I close the search form. </form> But when I do that the add to cart button no longer works.

Any ideas why?

This is a strange one, don't understand why when closing the form, the table goes to normal size. However whenc checking the source:

#1 has a <TD width=378>
#2 has a <TD vAlign=center width=269>

Is http://www.uniformcorner.com/landauspring2005.htm a custom page?
I would check Act_SimpleSearch.html and remove the <br> tag here as well as maybe maybe using a fixed width here?

Yes it is a custom page.

I got on some of the HTML help forums and found that other people had similiar problems that no one had answers for. It is very confusing.

I have tried so much as even copying and pasting the #1 element into Act_Primary in Dreamweaver and it automatically resizes itself to the taller table.

I think the best thing to do now is to Register support query here, then you can send you're snapshot in for the support team to have a look at the templates.
