    Barring dodgy customers

    Hello
Anyone know of a way to stop specific customers ordering? We have a couple of real pains in the x?!@ who are constantly returning goods, demanding special service etc and it would be great to not even have to see their orders and delete them (there's always a danger that the order could get through). Given that I have full address details etc, is it possible to create a 'stop list' within Actinic?
    Thanks

The online solution would be to incorporate a form checker to check against existing details and block them - assuming this is possible within the secure checkout area of Actinic the user could always submit a slightly different verion of the address (eg in lower case or Rd not Road) and the checker would probably fall.

Your only real solution is to either make everyone who buys a registered user (not very web friendly) or take a look at your back office system and try and flag the user once the order arrives. Ensure all your staff have an up to date list of all the barred customers with instructions on what to do if they receive an order.

There are other certain legal issues concerning the "invitation to treat" whereby you are offering products for sale and then not completing your side of the deal once the goods have been ordered - you need to accept the order and then refuse to supply the goods due to them being out of stock etc

You can always put stuff in your terms and conditions that gives you the right to decline any order
