creating an up-sell

Still struggling with learning Actinic catalog. There is facility to Up-sell, described in the "Getting started" manual, on page 13. I have repeated the exercise several times, but each time when I come to paste the attribute back into the component, the system hangs and I have to ctrl+alt+del out (I even tried waiting 2 hours - well, watching the television, actually). The manual says to CUT the attribute, create new component, and paste it back. Any ideas?

Hi Anthea,

Instead of pasting the attribute back onto the component, why not try just creating a new one (right-click on the component and select 'new attribute'). Then add your choices onto this attribute. I don't know why it should hang when pasting but the above should be a way around it.
