    Log in feature

    Hi,
My client wants to use the Log in feature to offers groups of customers discounts on the products. I've sussed out how to do this but how do I let customers create a log in. When you click on the login button it asks for username and password and won't let you create one. Other sites have a 'are you a new customer' option and you can put in your details etc. How are our customers going to let us know they want to be included in a discount for a group. Should I create a page or something letting people know they can apply by email for a customer account, is this the only way we can do this?
    Many thanks Deborah

Actinic does not provide you with a sign up for an account or automatic authorisation of accounts, so you would need to create some form or email request page/details, where they request it or a dummy product for account sign ups with no financial value, which you then use to activate it as an account etc.

      Hi,

I was wondering if there were any plans to allow a 'sign up' feature in version 8 (when it graces us with its presence!)...?

Is it on the wish list?

And does any body know of any 3rd party solutions to this problem?

      Cheers,

      Ben
