Copying Error

Hi, can anyone explain why I should get a copying error, just testing the idea of externally link my products to a stripped down product table. However, when I try an allocate the the unallocated external products by drag and drop. It generates this error message:-

"An error occurred while copying to the clipboard" OK button when you click on gives you another message "OpenClipboard failed" <OK>.

This also occurs when try to copy or drag products already there!
