US Froogle Feed - obsolete data

Is there a way for us to edit the froogle feed output formats? - ie, is it a crystal report or similar?

The reason I ask is that I am getting obsolete data fields output ahead of the feed data itself - this is currently holding up feeds if I forget to manually strip them before uploading the feed - something I'm doing about 50% of loads!

    cheers

You could use our froogle mash program to produce the feeds rather than Actinic, the basic mode of operation would probably be fine, you can download a trial from www.mole-end.biz and if you join our mailing list you will get a free license for it.

I joined the mailing list, but never got information on how to get my download of the google mash.

Out of interest - does your google mash export products where pricing of the base product is zero and component pricing is selected? I have to exclude multiple year NOD32 licenses, but they are the most sought after renewals for this particular anti-virus solution - the only other way I can think of, is to have "hidden" products and include those in the froogle feed but not the web site....

I have just sent this out to you, sorry for the delay.

The way to get products using component pricing included it to add a price to the main product but still use sum of components as your pricing model, you can then change the template to either exclude the price (if this isn't done automatically) or to say From $xxx. Froogle are very keen on pricing matching that shown on the page so they might object, worth a try though.
