    Cart Spacing

It's a very small job but i'm trying to reduce the space bewteen the Product Title and the Colour description in the cart (see attached file for an example). I've tried editing Act_ShoppingCartXML.html but i can't get the desired result.

Ideally i would liek this all on one line (so it would read Velour 1 - Colour: Grey) but failing this having the "Colour: Grey" on the next line down.

A solution woul dbe greatly appreciated!

    Cheers

    Hi there

One-way of doing this is in the permutation, tick "Component As Separate Order Line", and under the main product in Component Details, Select "Sum of Components Prices". Tick "No Order Line for Main Product".
If you do the above, the shopping cart will just display the component choice, so if you reword the component choices to be Velour 1 - Colour: Grey, then it will be on one line.

      Hi Nadeem,

Thanks for the reply. When you say that was one way of doing it...what are the others? Unfortunately i'm not using components but choices for the colours. I'm using choices as i've integrated dynamic image changing on colour choice!

      Cheers

        Hi there,

The only other way would be to in editing the perlscript (ShoppingCart.pl). I will see if development can do this, and post the results here. It might be a bit tricky.

            Hi there

Just out of interest, what happens if a client has ordered more than one choice. If you have it all in one line, would this not look messy. I believe this is the reason why we have it like this?

            Please advise

              Hi Nadeem,

If the client orders more than one choice they come as seperate blocks - see attached .jpg. All i'm looking to do is close the gap between the product title "Velour 1" and the option text, "- Colour: Grey" & "- Colour: Blue" in this case. In fact, it would probbaly be better to keep it on a seperate line. As you will see form the graphic having the "- Colour: Grey" or "- Colour: Blue" text aligned bottom is stretching the table cart cell beyond that which is necessary.

If it can't be done it can't be done, that's fine!

              Cheers

                Hi there

Thanks for that, it might be the case that it can't be done, but am double checking with development on this.

                  Hi there,

I'm afraid this cannot be done presently with the current build of Actinic.

                  Kind Regards
