What triggers Actinic (developer 7.0.2) to know when to upload?

Many a time perhaps adding a new product, part of the product is uploaded but maybe not the section image.. The upload says it has worked correctly but not all files are copied up.

Also When coming from test mode back to production mode the test function says deleting files but just deletes the scripts, is this correct? But then using the upload arrow in production mode only part is uploaded and then I have to do a web refresh must to the disgust of the client.

Am I missing something?

Hi,

What triggers Actinic (developer 7.0.2) to know when to upload?

When you 'update' your website Actinic checks the time/date stamps of the files on the server against the files on your pc. If they are different then it assumes that the files have been changed and need uploading. Therefore, if you only change the product price, it does not need to upload the product or section images as they should have been uploaded previously.

A 'Web | Refresh Website' will send everything up to the server again.

No, it should remove the whole 'Test' folder that is created within the 'acatalog' folder as well as the scripts that are used for the test site (xx90000x.*).
