    Terms and Conditions

I have a good question regarding terms and conditions page in Actinic.

We have a T & C that I wish to include in Actinic, these are much more comprehensive than can be included ‘>Business settings >Terms and Conditions ‘, with more sections.

Is it possible to modify the template to allow this? I guess by either inserting the T & C directly in or pointing it to another webpage?

    Thanks

    Steve

Yes, I always write non actinic supplied Terms. I use the navigation to point to a different page.

rather than reply by memory, I looked checked this in the software, and its easier than I thought

          Design|options|Misc tab

bottom of the box Information Linkl

          use the URL option

Although the T&C's work from the side bar navigation link I don't get any in the checkout just a link that says

'Click here to view the Terms and Conditions'

The link it refers to is infopopup.html but this is blank!

              Any suggestions?

if you use the url option this is correct behaviour, you have told the software to show a separate URL instead of inbuilt t&C

whats the full url of the info page?
is it uploaded to the webspace?
Are you referencing it properly in the software?

Hi Jo, I've just edited my last post for clarity.

It works fine from the side Nav bar.

                  I created a HTML page called terms.html.
"If 1st you don't succeed try try again and if that doesn’t work cover up all evidence of failure!"

                    Hi Jo,

I seem to have lost my replies (due to the simiens crew hackers) I suppose if I paste a copy of the T&C's into infopopup.html that may work.

If it were me I'd go to the act_order.html files locate the link and change it to the correct url.

This way you don't have to maintain to copies of your T&C

                        Same Question

                        Hi,

I am trying to do the same and I have read this posting a few times but don't seem to be able to get it right.

What I would like to achieve is this....

I would like to be able to have a link on the navigation that links straight to an existing page on my website.

I want to be able to remove all the wording from the checkout pages except the link that says "I Agree to the terms and conditions"

                        Is this possible please?

                        Thanks

                        Trevor

I can empathise, I'm not happy with mine either and it’s something I must return to.

Have you deleted all the data out of the actinic T & C then Design>options>Misc tab bottom of the box Information Link> use the URL option?
