Images as Links
Hi,
You need to set up a CUSTOMVAR - go to Help, Help Topics and and type customvar in search box, and go from there.
Can anyone help me?
The Image Clickable box in my Links tab on my product entries I can't click on - I need to use this to make the image clickable.
I want to have an advanced link to a particular page but it only lets me type in text for the link. Anybody?
Thanks
Matthew

Matthew, apart from chastising you for hijacking someone else's thread and diverting the topic? A search on here for make image clickable will yield a multitude of answers.Bill

Images as well!
Excellent thread but I was still stuck on how to get images to appear in the side (margin) boxes. Finally realised I need to use code like this:
<img src="../test.gif" alt="test" border="0" />
the ../ path was important!

Boxes...
Thanks Bill, you are right. The ../ works for me but not for both pages. This means you need different paths when using an external text file containing the links and images you wish to display in the brochure and shop? Its getting confusing now ;-) I will surf the forums....

Yep, you need to remember that normally the brochure home page is in the root - so it is at the same level as the acatalog folder. All the other pages are inside the acatalog folder and that folder is in the root.
To reference an image file in the webspace root from a catalog page inside the acatalog folder you would need to use ../ which means go up one level. from the brochure page, the image in the root folder is at the same level so you just need the filename.
But if actinic loads the images, they will be in the acatalog folder, not the root, so the path from brochure will be /acatalog/filename and the path from catalog pages will be filename only.Bill
