Creating new site whilst orginal is live?

Hi all,

We have a site running live at the moment in catalog 6. Its due for a design change etc but needs to be running as is in the meantime - is there anyway of doing something like this?

Leave the current site 1 as it is.
Create a site 2 which would be a copy of site 1
Make the design changes to site 2 whilst leaving site 1 live
Replace site 1 with the now redesigned site 2
Delete site 2 as its no longer required

So far short of installing a new copy of catalog on another machine and running it in 30 day demo to make the changes i'm out of ideas :-(

What you need to do is create your new look an feel and turn this into templates. You could create a "Hidden on website" section in your Actinic software and use the new templates there until you are happy. When you are change the default template to use the new design.
