    rounding problems with VAT

I want to display my prices inc VAT, so I input them ex VAT and let the system do the rest.
Problem: I want a VAT inc price of £33.00
If I enter 2809 I get a VAT inclusive price of £33.01, if I enter 2808 I get a VAT inclusive price of £32.99. I cannot enter 2808.5 as the field accepts only integers (or 2 places of decimals depending upon whether I put it in the .csv file or direct into the site)!!! Any ideas?

This is a well known limitation. A bit of searching should find you plenty of posts regarding this. There are some (clunky) suggestions regarding using a Custom Tax rate to get the amounts exact.

Apologies for not reading the other posts first - they total more words than the User Guide! At least I'm not alone, but it's obviously a very long standing pain to a lot of people! Not keen on fiddling with Custom Tax stuff, so I guess I'll just have to grit my teeth and accept it (for now, says she hopefully...)
