Is there any way to get the quick search to find single words if the plural is there?

For example we sell sweets. If we have a sweet lilsted as "Flying Saucers" then the search facility will find "saucers" but won't find "saucer" - which is confusing for people.

Any ideas please?

When I search for 'saucer', I find your Flying Saucers fine. Strange.

The search works by matching characters working from the start of words in the search index.

So, for example, the word 'saucers' is in the search index. Actinic successfully matches the search term 'saucer' to the first part of the word 'saucers'. The problem comes when you have the word 'saucer' in the search index, and someone searches for 'saucers' as the search will not be able to match this word.
