NO automated email and contact us :-(

Hi,
I have uploaded the site but i am having too many problems with the email. whenever i run the TEST in the NETWORK SETTING i get this response.

"The computer you specified as your mail server is not a valid mail (SMTP) server. Check the computer name or address and try again. If it fails again, then it is possible, you were locked out by a firewall program, or you don't have network connection to this server."

than I get the TEST RESULTS

"Actinic Mail Test completed successfully
server: passed
connection: failed
sockets: passed
communications: failed
authorisation: failed
message: Permission denied"

Please help me as i need to sort this out asap.

I had a similar problem after using the set up wizard, I sorted it by adding ftp. in front of my domain name in the server host box and adding http:// in front of my catalog url and cgi bin url boxes

actually its not for the website its only for the automated order email and the contact us form on the site. I do have all the rest of the settings correct.

FTP setting set to as adviced by actinic support

pass xxx

Hi there

So you put these details in "Advance | Network Setup | Email Settings" which is okay. What email address have you in for "View | Business Settings | Company/Contact | Email Address". This email address should be the email address given to your by your hosting company. Eg sales@321burn.com
