NO automated email and contact us

Hi,
I have uploaded the site but i am having too many problems with the email. whenever i run the TEST in the NETWORK SETTING i get this response.

"The computer you specified as your mail server is not a valid mail (SMTP) server. Check the computer name or address and try again. If it fails again, then it is possible, you were locked out by a firewall program, or you don't have network connection to this server."

than I get the TEST RESULTS

"Actinic Mail Test completed successfully
server: passed
connection: failed
sockets: passed
communications: failed
authorisation: failed
message: Permission denied"

Please help me as i need to sort this out asap. Here are my details for host and smtp settings

APLUS.NET is hosting company permissions set to 755 and the smtp settings to

FTP setting set to as adviced by actinic support

smtp.321burn.com
username xxx
pass xxx

[webyourbusiness]

try removing the username/password and use localhost as the smtp server - if that fails, the correct people to answer the question are the hosting provider - no-one else is (in theory) better qualified to answer questions on how cgi-scripts are supposed to use email server-side... if they can't answer - find a host that does know how to answer.
