how do you email a snapshot of your site to someone

Zipping the ACD file will marginally reduce the size (but not by a great deal)

export the snapshot:

File Menu | Snapshot ... | Export Site ...

Save the snapshot to your desktop - it's easier to find that way...

Next, minimise your Actinic and all other programs - you can short-cut this by holding down CTRL and hitting M.

Next - find your snapshot - right-click it and select "Send to" - select "mail recipient".

Your email program should open... if it doesn't get someone to configure it for you....

Attach it to the e-mail and click send

Sorry I did just answer the question. I though they must have already had a snapshot but thought Actinic maybe done something with it.

to you and I - yes... I'm prone to missing out the steps required to get from A to B - assuming that a client knows what I'm talking about - when I do this in person, the tell-tale glazed eyes lets me know that I need to stop and explain the intermediate steps...

When someone asking for help has the forethought to tell you that they are a newbie, that is my tell-tale sign that I need to reduce my assumptions about knowledge... ergo, my much more detailed instructions.

just an observation... use it to save yourself time and effort if you can... don't if you feel it beneath you - whatever floats you boat guys and gals...
