Items and Value return to Zero out of viewcart/checkout

Can someone please help me with this problem. The Items and Value script return to zero when out of the view cart/checkout pages, but remain populated when you go back to view cart/checkout

Well Maybe it's related to the fact that when I click on this product I've got 2 fields where I can enter quantities for this product (instead of just one) , as you can see on the enclosed picture.

They are two different products, even though they seem to be the same.

I've had a good look at this, and it is very strange, there seem to be no difference between the two. Are you using the same overall layout, you can check this in "Design | Option | Layout", check "Default Primary template" and "Checkout page layout".
