I'm still trying to get my head around the functionality of the site I'm working on before I make it look pretty but have come across another issue.
The site is for dental products and the majority of the lines won't be for sale to the general public so authorised Dental Professionals will need to log in to view the catalogue.
Although it's not a problem to restrict access to certain sections for unregistered customers, when you perform a search - all of the products appear (if you click on a restricted line - you are taken to the login page). Is there a way of restricting the search so that if you aren't logged in - you are only able to search through the products which are available to you?
The site is http://www.dowelhurst.net
An example is - if you click on the blue shop button in the top right of the homepage and search for "macleans" the line for £16.50 is for customers with accounts only. it would be great if this would only appear once the customer is logged in.
Please feel free to log in with the temporary test account I've created -
username - test
password - test
Also, if you search for "macleans", click on the item for £16.50 and enter the login credentials, you're taken to the homepage and not the product. Does anyone know the cause of this?
Many Thanks
