    Customised Text

I have been editing many of text fields via Design | Text.
Is it possible to add html to these fields are format the text in some way.

For example, the text for Shopping Cart I would like to change from:

    Shopping Cart

    to

    Shopping Cart
    (to remove items blah blah)

I can add the additional text, but not the carriage return so my text reads
    as:

Shopping Cart (to remove items blah blah)

I have tried adding !<<br>>! but that just displays as written rather than inserting a line break.

Is there any way to format the text in Design |Text?

      Thanks Gary
Unfortuantely thats not the solution. I did actually use !!<br>!! but mistyped it when posting here!
All that happens is the html tags display so

      Checkout !!<<br>>!! (this way)

      displays as

      Checkout !!<<br>>!! (this way)

      and not

      Checkout
      (this way)

      I have also tried:

      !!<Checkout <br> (this way) >!!

just in case it didn't like tags in the middle.

        Interesting,

When I try putting a simple <br> at the end of Phase -1. ID: 165 in 'Design | Text' so it reads:
        Shopping Car <br>

It works fine and displays the (Prices in British Pounds) perfectly underneath.

Maybe it is something that doesn't work in v5.

nope definately dosen't work (at least when previewing the page - haven't tried actually uploading)

          In V5

          Checkout<br>more

          displays exactly as that

          Checkout<br>more

          and not

          Checkout
          more

not to worry - one more reason for me to crack on with my upgrade to v7 if its fixed in that

          thanks anyway

Not sure if this will help but it's worth a try. If you highlight an entry in Design / Text and then right-click and choose Zoom you get a text entry box where you can enter multiple lines.

Thanks for the tip Norman - had no idea that zoom thing was there!
It didn't solve the problem, but nice to learn a new trick.
              By entering
              Goods
              <pressing carriage return>
              more

it displays in the zoom box as

              Goods
              more

              BUT

when you close the zoom it reverts to

              Goodsmore

and furthermore, when previewing it comes up as error, goods text not defined!

I'm sure ther must be someway of doing something simple such as a line break.
The only other alternative is to leave the text fields alone, and add extra text to the template underneath, but its hardly an ideal solution.

              I plough on...
