Question about limited quantity products

I am considering purchasing Developer Edition 7. I have been working with the demo and like it so far. I haven't found that inventory control is real-time though. Is this possible? or am I just missing it?

Every week, I release several dozen one-of-a-kind products at a particular time. My current cart will not let two customers put the same item in their cart, thus overselling. Is this possible at all with Actinic? Can custom programming be done (not be me, by someone that knows what they are doing! ) to achieve this?

Hi there

I'm afraid that Actinic is an offline product, and does not upload a database. So you cannot have an online database, as Actinic won't work on that, and i have not seen a patch for this.
Actinic does use command lines to upload and download, so if you have a scheduling software which supports command line, you could instruct it for every hour to make Actinic download orders and upload.

Actinic stock monitoring only works from when you download the order, then do an upload.
