"Books","You've bought the kit, now get the knowledge! The best titles for those who are serious about improving their growing technique.",,"2499.jpg",,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,"books.html"
If so this looks ok to me - it also import ok. The problem lines (this is excel row numbers) are 602 - 604, 606 - 612.

Do you think that there is a specific orer in which section data should be imported i.e. should sections be inmported before their sub-sections or vice versa?
Also one assumes that although adding a product creates the section, specifiying the section data in a further line just overwrites with any new data?

Hi Alex
I just send you an email with a fixed flatfile import for the csv. I had to remove some section which are not being used. Also I had to remove the filename for the images, otherwise actinic will not import, if a image file does not exist then actinic will not import the file. Once i had removed these, Actinic imported the file correctly.

Thanks for your help.
You have removed all my section lines which means I now don't have any section images, descriptions or page names. Is there anyway we can get these back in as they are kind of important to my mission...

I also moved the first column to the end of the spreadsheet
Just to recap you have removed all the section images and you can now import without getting the "An unexpected error occured whilst trying to carry out the import. Please check your settings and try again" message?
Also do all sections listed at the bottom of the csv have descriptions and page names (some don't have images yet) as this is my real problem (rows 602 - 604, 606 - 612 are the ones that are not importing properly)
Alex
PS I have used the "section description" field not the "short description" as this works for 90% of my import

Hi Nadeem,
Thanks for getting back to me.
I still get this error message...
I don't have it open with any other files. It seems to me that it is one of the section lines that is causing the problem as when you remove them the file imports fine. Can you try importing in 6.1.5 (remove all image refs first). Note the missing data for (rows 602 - 604, 606 - 612).
Do you think there is something wrong with the data or the format of my import file? Maybe I am missing some fields but to be honest it used to work ok!
Cheers again for your help.
