'Cart Summary' not working correctly

I think this has been covered before but I cant seem to find the thread.

The Cart Summary box is not displaying the number of items or totals on the main Catalog pages. If I go to 'view cart' then the cart summary box does show the number of items or totals but as soon as I return to the catalog they are gone again.

Any help much appreciated

Check that the template you are using for your Checkout pages (in 'Design | Options | Layouts') contains the line

<SCRIPT LANGUAGE="JavaScript" SRC="actinicextras.js" TYPE="text/javascript"></SCRIPT>

This line needs to be underneath the line that says:

<SCRIPT LANGUAGE="JavaScript" SRC="actiniccore.js" TYPE="text/javascript"></SCRIPT>

These pages already contain these lines.

I have also followed article http://www.actinic.com/knowledge/aca...re.html#aGC119
but this stops the summary working altogehter.

Finally solved it!

In 'Advanced Network Setup' I didnt have 'Use Relative CGI-BIN URLs in Catalog Pages' ticked. Whenever I had ticked it and updated the site I would get Internal Server Errors whenever the cart was used. I have now discovered that this was to do with my privacy settings in Internet Explorer.
