Does anyone know if it is possible to put whole sections in groups rather than having to put each individual product in the section?

I want to put every single product in a group rather than going to each pruduct as select the groupComment

Do you mean you want to be able to add all you're products to a specific product group in one go, rather than selecting them one by one?
If so, you can select all the products as a block and move them across.

Thats exactly what I mean but there are loads of other products in the groups list so this cant be done like thatComment

You can either select a block of products by holding down shift and clciking, or pick our individual products by holding down control and clicking.
