Items in Basket not displaying

Hello All

I am having some problems with my store. I am using the "Best Sellers' theme and on the left above my "Department" listings there is some text that displays how many items and the value of things in my basket.

My problem is that this always displays as 0 items and 0 value on the shopping pages but on the View basket page it shows up correctly (ie 4 items and $27.96). Any ideas or solutions?

The problem seems to be with your cgi bin url...

When you click the view cart the display works, the url is http://www.stockingstufferstore.com/cgi-bin/

However, when you are on catalog pages, the url is different - http://www.thestockingstufferstore.com/acatalog/

Looks like that could be causing the problems, if you have a look in Advanced|Network setup, what do you have for your catalog url and cgi-bin url?

Hi there

http://www.stockingstufferstore.com/ and http://www.thestockingstufferstore.com/ are on two seperate servers by the looks of it.

If you go to http://www.stockingstufferstore.com/ then it works fine, however if you go to http://www.thestockingstufferstore.com/ then there is a mix up, as your view cart is pointing to http://www.stockingstufferstore.com/ and does display the same cart contents and value.

They are both on the same server. One is an alias though and pointing to the same files.

You pointed me in the right direction though.

It was creating different browser sessions I think. I changed the links so it was not jumping back and forth between sessiosn and now everything is working perfectly.
