Stop users uploading
I maintain a site using two PC's. On my PC I do all of the design work etc. My customer uses his PC for order processing. He keeps "accidentally" uploading insted of downloading when collecting orders -- overwriting any changes I may have made. (He is many miles from me, so I cannot get to him easily).
In the advanced user guide, it says that users can be prevented from uploading by deleting the files whose names are in the form Act_*.html. This does the job, however, you get dozens of error messages about missing files, especially at start up time.
Does anyone have a better solution ?
