pre-authorise transactions not pre-authorising

Hi,

I am using SecPay as our main PSP.
Due to frequent fraudulent orders using stolen credit cards etc. I have switched from "Charge transactions immediately" to "pre-authorise transactions" yet the transactions are still being charged immediately.

I have spoken to secpay tech support but they have just refered me back to actinic.

any suggestions as to how I can enable "pre-authorise transactions" would be appreciated.

I am using Actinic Catalog V.7.0.1 on Windows XP SP2.

Hi

I don't use SecPay but for the PsP's that I have used, this value is often set in the OCCSecPay_script_template.pl file in the Common OCC directory of your main site directory.

Quite often there's a field in there set to 'PAYMENT' which needs to read 'PREAUTH' or whatever teh secPay equivalent is.

Actually - I've just looked at that file and if you go to line 171 there's instructions there to remove a hash (#) to enable deferred transactions
