    How do I export orders as a CSV file successfully?

    Good Afternoon,

    I am experiencing problems with the 'Export To File' feature of the Actinic v5 program.
    When I run an export by going to Reports | Outstanding Exports,
    the actinic program freezes and informs me of an illegal operation.

    I have enabled Standard Reports & Export To Files within View | Business Settings | Orders, also allocating all four reports to files.

    I take it this means that you are saving then on your PC (or network) as *.csv files.

    This sounds like Actinic is struggling with something in your database as it should be working fine. Try doing a compaction in 'Housekeeping | Compact Databases' . Also, try exporting specific orders with a right-click and then 'Re-Export to Files' to se whether it is a specific order causing the problem.
