Free Shipping Threshold - PATCH / FIX ?

Hi

We currently ship to UK only because owing to the nature of the product - door fittings etc shipping cost is calculated by product weight.

We ship FOC for all orders over £100 and this is easily enough set in the shipping options within Actinic.

We want to ship globally but still need to calculate shipping cost by weight AND retain the free shipping to UK customers.

This is where the problem is, as the free shipping threshold is a global setting, rather than controlled by region we are unable to set up worldwide shipping without losing the free UK shipping, something we cannot give up..

Actinic 7 does not fix this, 8 won't either and 9 may do.

Does anyone have a fix for this, can anyone code a fix - CODERS NOTE I am not after a freebie - if it's to pay for we can sort this

Hi Peter,

I'm afraid that Actinic will not do what you want at the moment and I've never seen anyone else get it to work this way (maybe someone could prove me wrong!).

This has been added to the wish-list before and I have just added your request to the list. We are looking at shipping for the next major release of the software, and there will be some changes. Hopefully this will be one of them, but it is too early to say for sure.

Anyone looking for a solution to the free shipping restriction within Actinic should contact Norman Rouxel at www.drillpine.biz
He sorted me a solution quick time and it works, as you would expect, superbly.

Norman has also developed the patch further to allow free shipping to selective destinations.
