    No email alert

    When I get a new order, no alert is sent out. SMTP is allowed on my server and I know that Actinic is sending email (and I therefore have put in the correct information for the mail server) because the order confirmation goes out to the buyer, but no alert email.

    I've got a valid email address in company settings and checked the "email required on new order" box, and updated the site with the info, but still no email alert

    Version 6.0.2.0.0.0

    Any ideas?

    Talk to your web host about whether they have got a thing called 'SMTP Authenication' running on your web server. This is a system that requires you to connect via your dial-up connection in order for the online SMTP server to send emails - hence the Network Settings test will work because you are connected, but the online mail-send may not work.

    If your web host has implemented SMTP authentication, ask them to allow unauthenticated SMTP connections from the domain that your Actinic store is hosted on.
