Urgent Help - ActUps.ocx - unable to find library

    Urgent Help - ActUps.ocx - unable to find library

    I am getting the following error message upon starting Actinic Developer Edition v7.

    The errors are:
    'Unable to find a library' - Check that c:\program files\actinic v7\ActUps.ocx exists'

    I then click Ok and get a second message:
    'Registration of Shipping Service provider, ActUps.ocx Failed'

    I then click OK and Actinic closes - so I can't do any troubleshooting.

    Pleaes help

    Hi Simon,

    Are you using the US version of Actinic? If so, please check in your "C:\Program Files\Actinic v7" if the file "ActUPS.OCX" exist here?
    Do you see other .ocx files?

      No I use the UK version - however I have had a theme developed by a USA based company - will this make a difference?

        Hi Simon

        It possible that the UPS information is within your database, so please try opening the following tables within your "ActinicCatalog.mdb", which can be found in your "C:\Program Files\Actinic v7\Sites\Site1" and delete the records.

        SSPOnlineErrorData
        SSPProvider
        SSPProviderClasses
        SSPProviderFeature
        SSPProviderFeatureSetup
        SSPProviderVersions
        You will need Access2000 to open the database.

          Hi,
          We have been having the same problem, but not in our core computer. Only in some users computers (we have 6). We use Actinic Business Plus Version 9.05.
          Should I delete the records on the main database (core computer)?
