Can we use Actinic Order Manager with Catalog?

I have built a webshop using Actinic for my company. The department that will be handling the sales orders from the webshop are physically remote from me, so we need them to be able to download orders but not to be able to change the webshop. The Actinic Order Manager appears to offer that capability, but its specification says that the shop needs to be developed by Actinic Developer. Now, we only require one webshop and the price difference between Catalog and Developer is significant.

Is it possible to use Order Manager with a webshop developed using Catalog?

You can load of catalog on 1 machine and load again on machine 2. As long as one is the upload and one is the download you will be fine.

Thanks for that...but won't the instance of Catalog on machine 2 permit users of machine 2 to modify the content of the webshop?
(I don't really want the sales department to be able to inadvertently change the webshop (intentionally or otherwise))

In Business Settings | Options you can specify which functions are allowed on the machine
