Affiliate Program integration - Help please!

Hi,

I'm having problems integrating my affiliate program with Actinic.

I've followed the advice as best I can from page 52 of the advanced user guide v6.

The affiliate program says to add the following to my thank you page:

<img src="path_to_affiliate/callback.php?amount={amount}&txn_id={txn_id}&aff_id={aff_id}&next_rebill={next_rebill_in_months}"

Which I have done, replacing "path_to_affiliate" with the relevant path.

I've also changed:

amount={amount}

to:

amount=NETQUOTEVAR:ACTINICORDERTOTAL

and

txn_id={txn_id}

to:

txn_id=NETQUOTEVAR:THEORDERNUMBER

[ the affiliate program defines : {amount} as (required). Indicates total amount of purchase and {txn_id} as (required). This is transaction identity of your billing system. It will be used for future references from Affiliate Pro transactions to the actual transactions of billing system. If your billing system does not send this value just send any value.]

I'm probably doing something very basic wrong. Any help would be much appreciated,

What you have written is okay. What affilate script are you using, is it a php script? I just wonder why you have <img src="...."> for the script?

Decimal point?

Hi, I've tried to integrate this code into our roi tracking for affiliate future, the porblem is that ACTINICORDERTOTAL doesn't seem to add the decimal point, eg, when the order is £58.98, it converts it to 5898, then on the roi trakcer with the affiliate programme, it shows as £5898, any ideas how to add the decimjal point?

Thanks Nadeem, I've got all that worked out in my head now but it now seems my receipt page has been broken for several weeks so I can't try to integrate the affiliate till I get my receipt page up and running. I've stared another thread about that.

The Affiliate program is affiliate Pro from:

http://www.softservice.org/products_affiliatepro.html

The <img src="...."> seems to call a php page ... if that makes any sense?

I'll also need help with the decimal place I'd say.

Hi there

Instead of using NETQUOTEVAR:ACTINICORDERTOTAL, try using NETQUOTEVAR:NUMERICORDERTOTALCGI instead. See if this works

Which Order.html

When the affiliate program says that they need the order confirmation page, does this mean the reciept page? ie Act_order4.html?

Yes the order confirmation page is the receipt page, which is "Act_Order04.html".

Does this include VAT and shipping, we wish to use similar, but we want to pay commission before VAT and shipping
