Formatting in catalogue pages

I'd like to add some simple formatting to text in catalogue pages, probably just bold and italics. I can't see any way to achieve this, can anyone suggest anything please?

You can embed HTML wherever you like in the product descriptions. HTML tags need to be prefaced by !!< and followed by >!! otherwise Actinic will convert them into displayable text.

E.g.

This is a !!<<font color=red>>!! red !!<</font>>!! word.

It's quite common to embed a LOT of HTML, e.g. a TABLE of shoe sizes for various countries. Don't try embedding FORMS as product pages are already within a FORM and you will break that.
