Problem linking to a product using it's ref

    Hey all,

I appear to be having a problem linking ot a product using it's reference. I'm using <a href="[section].html#[product ref]"> to call for the product but it's just loading the page as normal

    Any clues? www.advancedfloorheating.com/acatalog

    Thanks

It should be <a href="[section].html#a[product ref]"> (see that extra "a").

        Two problems.

        1) There are only MG100-2 type references on that page; no MD100 anythings.

        2) However even that won't be enough as Actinic converts non alphanumeric within these anchors to their hex equivelants, preceded by an underscore. This is to prevent special characters in your product references generating invalid HTML.

E.g. product ref MG100-1-5 becomes anchor aMG100_2d1_2d5 (the "-" chars replaced by "_2d")

So to get at MG100-1-5 (which does exist on that page) you'd need to use

        http://www.advancedfloorheating.com/...aMG100_2d1_2d5 which now works OK.

You can always look at the source of your web-pages (IE / View / Source) and search for e.g. aMG100 to see what's actually generated by Actinic.

Excellent that works, but I don't get that bit bit where you said "There are only MG100-2 type references on that page"

Why doesn't th hex equiv of MG100-2 become #aMG100_2d2?

Thanks for your help though, if it's just product codes, they can be changed.

            Ahhhh, it DOES! lol

            Thanks mate.

Any ideas on how to get rid of the Ex VAT prices from the product pages then?
