Please help, total noob, and stuck

If anyone can help me get going i would appreciate it

Basically I am really new to all this

On my site i have 2 folders
1. acatalog (i have put a cgi-bin inside this folder )
2. cgi-bin
I have 2 locations for cgi-bin as not sure where it should be I have added a screenshot on this link to the advanced network settings screenshot
I get 2 errors when i hit test

error 1 =

Actinic is not able to run the CGI scripts on the server. It appears as if the scripts are not installed. The most likely cause is that you have an incorrect CGI-BIN URL. If you've never uploaded the site, then you should do it before a download of orders. If you've uploaded the site ever, then Run Web | Configure Web Site Details... to review your web site configuration.

error 2 =

The web server returned error code 404 - Requested URL not found. This means Actinic can not execute the CGI scripts on your web site. Run Web | Configure Web Site Details... to check the web setup.

getting somewhere

ok just configured website and it appeared to work but i am still getting no page when i type in my url

I just refreshed website and got this message

Error accessing the installation destination directory.

Possible Cause:
The path From CGI-BIN to the acatalog directory is incorrect
The network timed out
The network is disconnected
Recommendation:
Abort
Resolution:
Run the Web | Configure Web Site Details command to verify your setup
Re-establish the network connection
Try again when the network is not so busy

Not sure what i did but it seems to work now

Just need to do some work on the actual site

Gonna switch site off for a while whilst i update
