    Error with protx forms

Hi when running in test mode I am getting this error after authorisation.
    A General Script Error Occurred

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Error: Your shopping cart has expired, orders must be completed within 3 hours or they will be automatically cancelled.Press the Browser back button and try again or contact the site owner
    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

It certainly did not take me 3 hours to do a test transaction - any ideas people?

use www.ansontactical.co.uk/index_work.html to get around the front page.

    Regards

    hi

I checked it out I don't get the error.

I am currently running Protx on my actinic store and I believe some of my customers are getting this error message too.

You can extend the 3 hour thing to longer. I set mine to 99 hours but I am not sure if this has made any difference yet or not ?

You do this in one of the settings under Web

If you do a search for your error there are a load of posts about what causes it. I think the jist was it has something to do with a version of Internet Explorer and Actinic passing the buck to Microsoft to update. I am not sure what the outcome was.

    Cheers

      Hi there

I think the jist was it has something to do with a version of Internet Explorer and Actinic passing the buck to Microsoft to update
That was down to the Input is NULL error message which is different from what Ansontactical is getting. This was an issue to do with Internet Explorer and fellow community members voiced this as well and it was listed in the critical updates. It was an issue to do with IE and SSL. It was not intended for us to pass the buck. Please check the following thread: http://community.actinic.com/showthread.php?t=11691

I can't see why you are getting this error, and i have not heard this error message with Protx. But have a look at the following thread: http://community.actinic.com/showthread.php?t=8355

Was this ever rectified as I am having customers report this problem (using Protx here too) quite a bit?

          Hi Tracey

The thread previously was the fix from the "Input is Null". Most of the client has simply used the windows update to update their version of I.E.
