    Refreshing files but not images

Some of my *.fil files are reporting back as corrupt.

I have read previous posts that advise deleting all from site and Site1 folder and refreshing.

Is there any way of refreshing just the system files without all the html and image files?
I know this has been asked for many times before (searching previous posts I found this raised by Pinbrook as far back as 2003) but it still remains a pain.

Assuming that the current software version still dosen't allow a selective approach to site refreshes (if it does PLEASE let me know and I'll upgrade now..), is it feasible to start a SITE REFRESH and then give it the old three fingered salute after the *.fil bit has completed, therby stopping short of all the html and jpg uploads?
Exactly what does the final refresh stage (merging incremental updates) do, and what happens if I pull out before reaching this bit?

Thanks for any help in advance

    Hi Martin,

Currently this is being looking into for a future build of version 7, to see whether we can implement this. Thats all i can say so far.

Exactly what does the final refresh stage (merging incremental updates) do, and what happens if I pull out before reaching this bit?
This bit is quite important, as Actinic runs a perlscript on the final stage, to update the .fil and it will also rename some fil to be old<info>.fil. Its basically updating the online catalog for any new product information.

    Kind Regards

one thing to try, which I have done in the past, is remove all files from the webserver except html and images.

delete fil files from local machine and upload.

I can't remember if the outcome was an upload or the site refreshed.

          Thanks Jo
I did get up and running again that day by doing exactly that (deleting the *.fil from both site and my machine and refreshing), its just a complete PITA to do a full refresh complete with 6000+ jpgs and several hundred pages of html, when all that was needed was to regenerate and upload *.fil, something that would probably take 2-3 mins on its own, rather than the 90 mins+ it takes to fully refresh IF you are lucky enough to complete without a timeout.
