    Error message extracting step 1.html.

    When I start Actinic v7 Catalogue - I get the following error message. Please could someone help me.

    Error extracting step 1.html from C:\Program Files\Actinic v7\formats\Navigator Skins\Quick Start Guide\Skin.zip. Directory Creation failed.

    Then it is followed by

    Panel 0 cannot be displayed. It is either missing from the skin definition file, or the definition is invalid.

    and finally -

    The Navigator cannot be displayed.

    Any help would be very much appreciated. Please bear in mind though I am not a "techie"!! Sincere thanks.

      Sorry, but I find this rather confusing. Thanks for trying to help though.

        Hi Shirley,

        Ok, try the following. Go to "My Computer" and "Local Disk C:".
        Go to the following folder: "C:\Program Files\Actinic v7\Formats\NavigatorSkins".
        You will see a list of folders, simply go to the bottom and you will ssee a file called "skins.ini".
        Double click on the file so it opens in notepad
        Simply what is in the file, change the content to the following:

        [DefaultSkin]
        Default=Default Navigator
        B2BDefault=Default Navigator
        BrochureDefault=
        OrderManagerDefault=OrderManager

        [DefaultTemplateNavigator]
        Framed=TNCatalogWithFrames
        UnFramed=TNCatalogNoFrames
        BusinessFramed=TNBusinessWithFrames
        BusinessUnFramed=TNBusinessNoFrames
        You could simply copy the above and paste it in your "skin.ini" file.

        Kind Regards
