Funny Problems

Hi

After uploading my site and finding everything is work ok, I decided to do a test order, which worked fine except when I get to the thank you page, after you have been through the payment provider, i get a page can not be find error. Can anyone tell why this is happening. Also when a customer cancels their order they go to the following address http://www.djwade.com/cgi-bin/index.html I have added a index.html which just dreict them to my home page but this doesn't seem to work for some unknown reason, it again gives a page can not be found error.

I'm not sure why these are happening. Any help would be great.

i've just placed an order, it took me to HSBC, then I clicked cancel and was returned to the page i ordered from.

I would remove cookies and clear your cache on any browser you use.

What the problem is with the cancel button is when you cancel the order before you go to HSBC (so when you are entering all you details) it takes you to a 404 error. Also at the moment if a customer completes an order i.e. pay for it when HSBC pass them back to my site they are also get a 404 error page can not be found. If you cancel the order on the HSBC site it works fine.

Hi Darren,

One thing to check is in "Design | Option | Miscellaneous", For either "URL for completed and Aborted Checkout" or "Home Page Link", do you have an address here. If you do have an address, please could you tell me, does it follow the following format:

http://www.actinic.co.uk/
http://www.actinic.co.uk/index.html

If it does not follow the above format then please change it, and update the site.

Please check this.
